The Suunto Vyper Novo receives some big upgrades including a new screen with partial dot matrix layout for a much improved display of information, the navigation system has been upgraded to four buttons similar to the D series computers, the interface port has been improved, gas switching has been added and an electronic tilt compensating compass has also been incorporated.
The Vyper Novo uses the full continuous Suunto RGBM decompression algorithm for optimised bottom times and ascent times. It supports gas switching between up to three gas mixes with an Oxygen percentage up to 99%. The Vyper Novo also supports an optional wireless air integration transmitter for on screen cylinder pressure and remaining air time information. The elastomer strap can be removed and replaced with an optional bungee strap that is sold separately.
This computer is also compatible with a USB interface cable (sold separately) that allows you to download your dive profile data to your PC or Mac and gives you the option of sharing if with your friends across the world using the Suunto DM5 software.
